Two of our four children, have Cystic Fibrosis (CF). Camden, was diagnosed when he was 6 months old. He has been relatively healthy with no major illnesses. Jackson, was diagnosed through infant screening at 2 weeks old. He struggled more in the beginning with chronic infections and several stays in the hospital. He got a feeding tube when he was 15 months old and since then he has not been hospitalized at all. Living in Florida our family frequented the beaches. Rob has been a surfer since he was 10, so when we learned of the benefits that salty air and surfing provided the boys, we taught them how to surf, too. Since surfing has been such a benefit to our family, we want to share that with other CF families as well.
